Peanut Allergy

Peanut allergy can be a big problem for many people in the world and i can be also fatal for many people the reason why peanut allergy is one of the worst allergies is that you can’t stop eating peanuts and nuts they are hidden in many types of foods that you don’t know patients have experienced different symptoms from peanut or nut allergy such as:

  • They feel tightness in the throat.
  • They have difficulty in breathing.
  • They experience stomach pain.
  • They have diarrhea.
  • They vomit.

It may happen that you will not experience all of the above symptoms and the one you will experience may range from mild t life threatening.

Peanut or nut allergy can start at any age group including adults, teens and children but researches prove that it mostly appear in children’s more then any other age group.

The cause that triggered your nuts allergy may vary between different ingredients such as peas, beans, cashews, almonds and pecans and many other type of foods.

It has been proved that it is usually very rare for any person to outgrow a peanut allergy although many people still believe that they have or can.

The original analysis may have been mistaken which means the problem never existed already from the first place. When you have peanut allergy your body s will then see a nut as an unsafe object so it arranges its defenses to fight it off.

Nuts Are Often Hidden In Foods:

These days there are many plates snacks that are filled with nuts and you don’t even know a certain type of an Italian sauce that is very well know is pesto had been proved to be made from crushed nuts although many people are unaware of that.

  • Peanut butter and peanut oil they are often found in potato chips.
  • Mixed nuts, candy nuts.
  • sauces that are made from crushed nuts.
  • Asian restaurants and foods such as pad thai.
  • marzipan (a paste made from ground almonds and sugar)
  • Food bras energy bars and sport bars.
  • cakes with unknown ingredients
  • bouillon and Worcestershire sauce
  • praline and nougat
  • muesli and fruited breakfast cereals
  • vegetarian casseroles prepared with nuts and some veggie burgers or soy burgers
  • salad dressings.
  • gravy mixes

You should avoid these types of foods that have hidden nuts in them and it would be better to consult an allergist for further advice and medication.
